*Full Moon Hike (CANCELLED)

Join one of our rangers on a 1 mile hike under the light of the full moon. Meet outside the Visitor Center at 8:00pm. Be ready for cooler weather and wear good shoes as the hike will be on a rock and dirt trail.

*Full Moon Hike

What is the night life like at Dead Horse Point? Come learn more about it in this ranger-led hike under the full moon. The hike will be 1 mile long and will be on a dirt and rock trail. Please bring appropriate footwear. We will meet in front of the Visitor Center at 8:00pm.

Sunset Talk

While the sun begins to lower itself below the horizon, join a ranger as they talk about the amazing things inside and outside the park. Meet by the bathrooms at the Dead Horse Point Overlook at 6:30pm. We will be walking a little ways down the west rim trail before getting to our spot.

*Star Party

Join us for the first star party of the year!! We will have stargazing, constellation touring, and telescope viewing. The party starts at 8:30pm in the parking lot of the Visitor Center. Try to arrive 10-15 minutes early and get ready for a spectacular night.

Come and learn more about the stars, their stories, and some of the deep space objects in the night sky. Join our rangers for a night under the stars where we will do a constellation tour and then look through telescopes at some out of this world objects!! Meet in the Visitor Center Parking lot at 8:30pm. Try to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
