Volunteer & Seasonal Employment
Please note that this page only applies to Dead Horse Point State Park and not any other park or jurisdiction.
Seasonal Employment Opportunities
We have eight seasonal employees working at the park from March through November and two seasonal employees from December through February. Annual recruitments will vary depending on how many employees choose to return from year to year. If you are interested in working at the park, please email park manager Jim Wells at jameswells@utah.gov.
Volunteer Opportunities
We need you! Individuals, couples, and families with children of all ages, as well as service groups and clubs, are needed for worthwhile and fun projects. Whether you can spend a few minutes, hours, days, or months, a volunteer assignment can be tailored to meet your interests. Volunteering should be scheduled at least 30 days in advance whenever possible.
Camp Hosts: Our volunteer camp host positions give you an opportunity to meet new people, explore an amazing area in Utah, and to help protect and preserve our amazing resources! To apply, please email park manager Jim Wells at jameswells@utah.gov.
