More information on Utah State Park’s ramp conditions HERE.

Current Day Use Visitation: Day Use Parking  Normal

Day-Use: Open

Launch Ramp:  The wedge has been removed for the season. The ramp is iced in.

Campground: Dixie Campground has been winterized for the season, water is off and bathrooms are closed in campground. Restrooms with shower available near concessions. Big Rock campground is closed for the season.

Winter Rate Campsites: Sites are all $25 per vehicle. All sites are first come first serve until May 1st 2024. Reservations can be made 4 months in advance, 1 year in advance for group sites.

Water Level: 93%

Ice Conditions: Thickness varies a lot around the lake. Dixie Hollow is 10 thick, Taylor Hollow is 7 inches thick and by the boat ramp was about 7 inches thick. There is about 2 inches of frozen slush on top. Edges are soft all around the lake, at main entrance the edges are the worst. Planks are being used by the majority of the fishermen. Nobody has ventured out to the middle of the lake, when we hit 5 inches we turned back.

Remember: “Ice is Never 100% Safe!” — Do not judge ice safety on thickness alone. Ice does not form or maintain a uniform thickness. Snow, wind, slush, temperature, and other factors can cause ice thickness and strength to vary greatly, even within inches. Recreate on ice at your own risk and verify ice thickness as you head out. Click here to learn more ice safety tips.

Fishing Report:

No report due unsafe ice conditions.

ALERT: Boat decontamination’s are closed for the season.
