Goblin Valley State Park

JANUARY 1, 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.

Every January 1, tens of thousands of people start off the New Year on a healthy note by visiting their local state park for a First Day Hike. The nature of these events vary by location, but you’re sure to have fun wherever you go.

Here, we will take a 2-3 mile excursion through the Valley of Goblins, marveling at all the deformed, misshapen hoodoos that give the park its name. The exact destination will depend upon snow levels. Make sure to come prepared with sturdy hiking boots, cold weather outfits, and water.
