Join a ranger for a short hike in the Valley of the Goblins and learn about the amazing geologic processes that formed the hoodoos and surrounding landscape.

March 3, Blood Full Moon Hike, 6:45PM, Observation Point
Join a ranger for a short hike into the Valley of Goblins while learning about the moon, wildlife and geology of the area.
March 7, Star Party- Origin and Types of Stars! 8PM, Observation Point
Join rangers to learn about the types of stars you can see in our amazing dark skies and then view stars and deep space objects through park telescopes.
March 21, Constellations- Love and Betrayal in the Sky! 8:30PM, Observation Point
Join rangers on a tour through the constellations, learning some of the mythology associated with them. We will then view various deep space objects through the park telescopes.
March 27, The Moons of Jupiter! 8:30PM, Observation Point
Join rangers to learn about the night sky, constellations, stars and the planet Jupiter. We will look at space objects through the park telescopes focusing on Jupiter and its amazing moons!
Note: for all dark sky programs, please bring only lights with red lenses if possible to protect night vision. Please arrive early to avoid illumination with you headlights, or park facing away from the program.
