Get a Boat Slip for Jordanelle!
Jordanelle State Park offers 80 private boat slips that are located at the Hailstone Marina off Hwy 40. Boat slips are categorized and priced by size and availability of electricity and water.
How do you apply for a boat slip? From February 1st – 15th, a google form link will be posted to our website to submit an online application. You may only enter each registered boat once per category – all duplicate entries will be eliminated. Park Staff will start contacting those who have been selected by random draw for the season via email (once) and phone (once). Each applicant will have 72 hours to respond and accept.
Each time a slip is awarded, the permit is for 1 season starting May 15th to October 15th. Permit holders may store their boats in the marina parking lot on the shoulder dates May 1st – May 15th and October 15th – October 31st. Why? During these time frames, the water levels are drastically changing as the seasons change and it helps our maintenance team move and manage our docks with ease.
- Each permit comes with 1 Jordanelle entrance hang tag. Please note this pass grants entrance to the park but does not guarantee parking or accessibility during park closure due to capacity.
- Trailer parking is not included with your permit.
- Dock boxes are not provided. If you wish to purchase a dock box, you’ll need to receive approval from Park Management before installing.
- If your vessel does not fit into the size selected, you will forfeit your slip for the season. The size must include your swim deck and prop, not the listed hull size.
- Slips are not available for commercial use. The boat listed on the permit is the only vessel allowed in the slip unless you receive Park Management approval
Wait List – If you are not awarded a slip for the current season, your name will automatically be added to a wait list. There is no cost to being on the wait list and you will only be contacted if a slip becomes available. The wait list will be available online to fill out all season after the random draw and does renew annually. Please contact park staff via email to update your contact information or if you need to change/update your slip selection.
