Open house event for a relaxing Valentine’s Day. Stop by to make a nature inspired Valentine for someone you love, enjoy a warm drink, and take a peaceful walk on one of our trails. All ages welcome!

Dark Sky Collab with Kimball Art Center

Friday, February 20 @ 6:30pm – 8:00pm

Join the Kimball Art Center and Wasatch Mountain Institute for an evening of stargazing and guided sketching at Jordanelle Reservoir! Observe constellations, planets, and deep-sky objects with telescopes under Utah’s dark skies, timed with a slim crescent moon.

Inspired by the historical “Harvard Computers” and the art of Erika Blumenfeld, you’ll create your own star maps and personal “light maps” that are both scientific and imaginative. Families are welcome to make their own constellations and art from guided observations.
