October 17, GALAXY QUEST MOVIE SCREENING! 7:45 PM at the Observation Point!

Don’t miss the chance to see this cult classic movie where it was filmed! Thanks to a partnership with the Utah Film Commission and Utah Film Center for this awesome opportunity! We will have snacks available for purchase and the event will be bring your own chair. Daily park fee required for entry. October 18, Halloween Sunset Hike!

Hike with a ranger around the Valley of the Goblins and learn about the spookiest animals of the park! We may even find some scorpions. 6:30pm at the Observation Point.

October 24, Halloween Constellations!

Learn about the spookier myths of the sky during this unique constellation tour! 8:30PM at the Observation Point.

October 29, Star and Planets!

Join rangers to learn some basics of astronomy and the importance of dark skies and then view space objects through park telescopes! 8:30PM at the Observation Point.

November 5, Full moon Hike

Join a ranger for a short hike in the Valley of the Goblins to learn about the moon and park wildlife. 5:00PM at the Observation Point

November 15, Constellations and Mythology!

Join rangers at the amphitheater near the campground to tour the visible constellations, learn fun mythology and learn about the stars and planets! 6:30PM

November 21, Star Party Finale!

Join rangers for our last telescope program of the year! Learn basic astronomy, tour the constellations and learn the importance of dark skies, followed by telescope viewing. 6:30PM at the Observation Point.
