Dinosaurs Day Arts N Crafts Night
August 2nd — 6PM-7:30PM
Get ready for a night all about our favorite prehistoric creatures! Enjoy this opportunity to see & touch fossils and practice your artistic skills! Art supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own! Where: Utahraptor State Park at Visitor Center
Quarry Hike with a Ranger (Update: Moved to inside the visitor center due to high temperatures)
August 8th — 9AM-11AM
Join us for an exciting one-hour hike up to Dalton Wells Quarry – where they found the first Utahraptor bones! This guided hike will include history of the Quarry, information about the Utahraptor, and insight into what Moab looked like during the Early Cretaceous period. Dinosaur Exhibits Walk N Talk
August 22nd — 10AM-11AM
Missed out on our Quarry Hikes? Don’t want to drive your car across Courthouse Wash? No worries: join us at the Visitor Center to learn about the history of Dalton Wells and the ten different dinosaur species found there! Walk around our Visitor Center to see dinosaur bones while listening to an exclusive Ranger-led tour of museum exhibits!

Scorpions glow under UV light! Join Park Rangers for a nighttime 0.5-mile walk searching for these glowing creatures!
