Volunteer Opportunities

Individuals, couples, and families with children of all ages, as well as service groups and clubs, are needed for worthwhile and fun projects. Whether you can spend a few minutes, hours, days, or months, a volunteer assignment can be tailored to meet your interests.


Camp Host Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer Commitment

  • Minimum of 25 volunteer hours per week
  • In exchange, volunteers receive a Camp Host Campsite located in the Gastonia Campground

Primary Duties

  • Cleaning shower facilities and pit toilets
  • Cleaning campsites for incoming campers
  • Assist rangers with the camper check-in and check-out process
  • Minor site maintenance
  • Provide customer service and answer guest questions

Requirements

  • Must be reliable, friendly, and comfortable working with the public
  • Must be able to pass a background check

Join Us as a Day Volunteer!

Are you passionate about nature, love spending time outdoors, and want to make a difference in your community? Become a Day Volunteer at Utahraptor State Park and play a vital role in preserving and enhancing this beautiful natural space!

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in park beautification efforts, such as trail maintenance, litter cleanup, and invasive plant removal.
  • Helping with special events or projects organized by the park.
