Facilities

Three distinct areas of the Park provide a number of amenities for both day and overnight use: the Marina, Rendezvous Beach, and the Eastside.

MARINA 

On the north end of Garden City, approximately 1 mile north of the US 89 and SR 30 junction. This is also the location of the park’s office. This area provides access to the lake with a seven lane launch ramp. There is also a small beach area on the north side of the Marina.

The Marina has 361 long-term boat slips, which are leased from May 1 to October 31. These slips can handle boats up to 34’ long. Some of the slips also include power and water hook-ups. For more information on these slips, click here.

OPEN YEAR ROUND 

RENDEZVOUS BEACH

Approximately 2 miles northwest from Laketown on SR 30 from the Cisco Road and SR 30 junction. Rendezvous Beach is separated into four distinct campgrounds, as well as the day use beach area. The campgrounds are Birch, Big Creek, Cottonwood, and Willow.

Willow Group Campsites – Willow has three (3) group campsites. Each site has a pavilion and can accommodate up to 48 individuals and 12 vehicles. Each site had at least two power pedestals for RVs, but no water or sewer hookups.

Birch Campground – Birch has 57 full hook-up (power, water, and sewer) sites. Each site has a pavilion covering a picnic table and a fire ring. Sites vary from pull-through to back in. Sites range from 64’ to 105’. 

Cottonwood Campground – Cottonwood is a tent only campground. There are 21 individual sites and 3 group sites. There are no hook-ups for any of the individual sites. Sites are marked on the asphalt and on the picnic table. The Cottonwoon A group campsite contains 2 RV power pedestals and can handle up to 48 individuals and up to 12 vehicles. The Cottonwood B group campsite does not have any RV power connections and can handle up to 32 people and 8 vehicles. The Cottonwood C group campsite does not have any RV power connections and can handle up to 48 people and 12 vehicles. 

Big Creek Campground –  Big Creek has 46 full hook-up (power, water, and sewer) sites. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Sites vary from pull-through to back in. Sites range from 44’ to 68’. Big Creek also has one group campsite, which can accommodate up to 48 people and 12 vehicles.

EASTSIDE 

On the east side of Bear Lake.  Accessed via Cisco Road – Includes the areas known as FIRST POINT, SOUTH EDEN, CISCO BEACH, RAINBOW COVE, AND NORTH EDEN. Distances vary from four miles to 13 miles north on Cisco Road from Laketown and the Cisco Road and SR 30 Junction.  

First Point Launch Ramp – First Point is primarily a launching area for boats and is a day-use area. No overnight facilities are in this area. It has a four lane ramp. There is a small area for picnics and gatherings to the south of the ramp.

South Eden Campground – South Eden offers 20 individual sites each with an RV power and water hook-up. There are 2 group campsites in South Eden that can accommodate up to 30 people and 6 vehicles. This site is on Reserve America. To reserve, click here.

Cisco Beach – Cisco Beach is the only first-come, first-serve campground within the park through the summer months. With 59 individual campsites to choose from. Cisco Beach offers a beach-front access site to all. No extra amenities are at this location. Vault toilets are spread throughout the campground. Cisco Beach has a low water launch ramp that can be accessed on the south end of the campground.

Rainbow Cove – The Rainbow Cove facility is currently undergoing a major construction project. With the current phase of the project, there will be: a new entrance/access road; expanded vehicle with boat trailer parking to the south of the launch ramp; improved day use parking on the north side of the launch ramp; a new, sandy day use beach on the north end of the property with parking for @ 60 vehicles; and, 21 individual, primitive campsites, each with a covered picnic table and fire ring. Future phases of this project will expand to 58 individual campsites and 2 group campsites, each with a power and water connection; restrooms with flush toilets and showers; and, 3 RV dumpstations. North Eden – The park’s North Eden facility is nearing the end of construction. When the construction is finished, the new campground will be named Border Campground and will have 35 individual sites and 1 group campsite. All campsites will have power and water hook-ups. There is 120 parking spaces for the day use beach area. The day use beach has 11 covered shade shelters on the beach. We are planning to have this whole facility open around May 1, 2024.

First Point, Cisco Beach, and Rainbow Cove are open year round.  North Eden and South Eden are usually open May through October.
