Sand Hollow State Park
With its warm, blue waters and red sandstone landscape, Utah's newest state park is also one of its most popular. Boat and fish on Sand Hollow Reservoir, explore and ride the dunes of Sand Mountain on an off-highway vehicle, then RV or tent camp in the new campground.
Park Hours:
6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. (gate will be closed overnight - please plan accordingly)
Holiday Closures: None
Day Visits:
$10 day-use permit includes watercraft launches and OHV access
$75 annual passes are available at the park
Overnight Camping:
Westside Campground: $25 (full hookups)
Sand Pit Campground: $15 (no hookups) or
$22 (water, electric hookups)
($15 extra vehicle fee at Sand Pit)
Directions:
From I-15, take the Hurricane exit (Exit 16). Travel east on Hwy 9 for about four miles to Sand Hollow Road and turn right. Travel south for about three miles and turn left at the park entrance.
