Gunlock State Park

In scenic red rock country, lies Gunlock Reservoir where year-round boating, water sports and quality fishing for bass and catfish attract visitors. The reservoir is rimmed with ponderosa pine and trails leading to alpine meadows and pine forests. A mild winter climate makes Gunlock State Park a year-round destination.

Park Hours: Hours: 24 hour access to park, year-round with no holiday closures. Campground access is from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Day Visits: $5 day-use permit covers use of watercraft launches.

Primitive Camping: $10

Location: Gunlock State Park is located 15 miles northwest of St. George via Highway 91, past Santa Clara and Shivwits.
