Facilities
Cottages
Gunlock State Park offers 3 cottages for nightly rental. There is a minimum two night stay for these facilities and do have some restrictions. No pets are allowed. Up to 2 cars are included with the reservation to stay overnight. Limited to 6-8 guests per cottage. Please read the fine print to know what to bring and your responsibilities as a guest. Cottages feature a full bathroom, kitchenet (without oven), microwave, fridge, living area, sleeping areas, heat and air conditioning, outdoor porch, firepit, and picnic table.
Campsites
Gunlock State Park offers 30 camp sites. All sites include power, water, and use of our dump station. Each site also has a covered picnic structure and firepit. Hot showers, Flush toilets, and beautiful restrooms are within the camp ground. Sites are limited to 10 people each. Each site is granted 2 vehicles to stay in the site with the reservation. Any other vehicles will be charged a $20 extra vehicle fee per night.
Day Use Beach
Gunlock State Park is open 365 days a year. Guests may come for day use from 7am-10pm daily for the use of the beach. No camping, fires, charcoal grills, or vehicles on the beach area. Day use fees apply for entrance.
Day Use Pavilion
This is a non-reservable, first come first serve area. The hours of operation are the same as our day use beach (7am-10pm daily).
Boating
Gunlock State Park allows boating from 7am daily. The boat ramp hours can change by season. Please check on current season hours (to the right on this page). Utah boating laws are enforced. Fishing
Gunlock State Park is the home to four types of fish. Crappies, Bluegill, Large Mouth Bass and Catfish. Limits apply and State Fishing licenses are required. For more information on fishing in Utah, see the Department of Wildlife Page.
Off-Road
Adjacent to Gunlock State Park are BLM trails for miles. Camping on the far side of the reservoir is paid at the entrance to the park. No open fires are allowed. Dry camping is $20.00 a night. Please follow the OHV guides for the state of Utah in the link.
