Fremont Indian State Park and Museum

   Discover artifacts, petroglyphs, and pictographs left behind by the Fremont Indians. During construction of Interstate 70, the largest known Fremont Indian village was uncovered. This museum preserves treasures from the site, including pottery, baskets, and arrowheads. Spend a day at the museum, and then camp at nearby Castle Rock Campground.

Visitor Center and Museum Hours: 
   Summer - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
   Winter - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
      (seven days a week)
Holiday Closures:
   Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day

Day Visits:
   $3 per person or $6 per vehicle

Overnight Camping: 
   Castle Rock Campground: $13

Group Day Use:
   Centennial Picnic Grounds: $70 flat rate (60 people max - 15 vehicles max)

Group Overnight Camping:
   Sam Stowe Group Campground: $Top 100 Family Campgrounds3 per person (100 people max - 50 vehicles max)

   Located 21 miles southwest of Richfield on Interstate 70.
