- Sam Stowe Campground OPEN. You can make a reservation for sites arriving March 15, 2025 until November 15, 2025. All sites in Sam Stowe have water power and sewer. 2 Cabins open year-round reservations available. Pit house open April-October for reservations. All sites except for the Group Site, are available to reserve 4 months in advance of your stay. Sam Stowe group site with hook-up spots available for reservation 11 months in advance.
- Castle Rock Campground OPEN. Reservations are available starting April 15th until October 31st, the first 10 sites are first come first serve. Vault and full flush restrooms. Water is available.
- Museum/Visitor Center building is CLOSED for renovations until further notice.

We have two beautiful campgrounds with RV spots, tent camping, a modern pithouse, and two Camping Cabins.
Sam Stowe Campground has 7 full hookup sites, two camping Cabins, a modern pithouse, and a group overnight site. These are reservable April-October. During winter months the sites are open to first come, first serve campers.
Sam Stowe over night group site has a pavilion (power) with tables, camp stove and a fire pit. The Group Site allows for several tents and includes 3 full hook up RV parking spots. A MAXIMUM of 10 vehicles (non-camping units) for the site are allowed and a max of 80 people.
Castle Rock Campground has 30 RV/Tent sites. Sites are reservable for April 15th-October 31st. Castle Rock Campground closes at the first significant snowfall and reopens in the spring, dependent on the weather. Please contact the park for more information (435) 527-4631. The visitor center/museum will be CLOSED, starting May 1st for construction improvements. You can still access the trails near the museum when the parking lot gate is open. There will be a trailer in the parking lot to reach staff and get information daily, Monday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. . The parking lot will only be at half capacity, no large rigs, trailers, or RV’s allowed. The lot will close every evening at 5pm.
