Public Comment: LWCF Proposals

NOTICE: This public comment period is now closed.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grants program was enacted by Congress to assist in the acquisition and development of high priority public outdoor recreation facilities. The program, administered by the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation (the Division), provides matching grants to state and local governments creating a broad range of recreation facilities throughout Utah.

NPS conversion process allows sponsors to modify the boundaries of property encumbered by this grant. Any property removed through the conversion process must be replaced by new recreation land. The below conversion proposals are being presented to the public for comment. 


Public comment for the proposals will close on:
Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
