Rules and Regulations
Please make sure to follow all park rules and regulations to make your visit and everyone’s visit a safe and enjoyable one and to avoid a citation.
General Rules
- All visitors must pay the park entrance fee and show proof of payment in their window or a Utah State Parks Annual or Senior Adventure Pass.
- Park only in designated areas
- Pets must be on a 6′ or shorter leash and attended to at ALL times.
- Remember to pick up after your pets. If they poop, you must scoop!
- Pitch-it-In! Please use the trash receptacles that are placed throughout the park.
- Fires are only permitted in the designated fire rings and are never allowed on the beach or jetties.
- Fireworks are prohibited in the park.
- Please follow all rules concerning fishing and hunting in the current proclamation.
- OHV’s, golf carts, and side by sides are prohibited unless registered as street legal.
- BUCKLE UP! It’s the law!
- Riding in towed boats/vessels on park roads is prohibited.
- ALL boats must complete self-inspection prior to launching for prevention of the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species and Mussels.
- ALL boating regulations are enforced. Including registration, insurance, safety equipment, PFDs and the rules regarding operation on the water. For more information visit Utah Boating Laws.
- Remember, don’t drink and boat. DUI laws apply in a vessel the same as in a vehicle.
- There is no swimming allowed in the inner marina.
- No overnight camping or docking on the courtesy docks.
- No overnight parking of boats/trailers in the parking lot without a proper permit.
- ALL commercial activity must be reported to the park staff prior to arrival at the park. ALL commercial activity must be PRE-APPROVED and a Special Use Permit must be in place. Contact the Park Manager if you plan on conducting any commercial activity in the park.
Campground Rules
- Check-in is 3 p.m., check-out is 2 p.m.
- Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Park on pavement only. Vehicles left on grass or dirt will be cited or towed.
- 8 people are allowed per campsite.
- One camping unit per site, i.e. one tent, or one RV or camper. No combinations.
- Pets must be on a 6′ or shorter leash and attended to at ALL times.

- No firewood gathering is allowed. If you need firewood, contact the park staff for help.
- Fires are only permitted in the designated fire rings and are never allowed on the beach or jetties.
