Huntington State Park

Current Conditions

Winter is here.  Staffing of the park is hit and miss.  We just closed our day-use restroom so that we don’t freeze the plumbing.  Our campground restroom will be open year round.  Camping from November through February camping is first come first served.
Reservations open again on March 1st.  They are allowed 4 months before your date arrival.
Day-Use: Open
Launch Ramp: CLOSED
Campground: Open
Water Temp: ICE
ICE CONDITIONS: Since Christmas, our Ice has gotten thicker.  Anglers were on the ice yesterday and reported 3-4 inches of ice.  It is still new ice so use caution.
Water Level: 76% Full
Fishing Conditions: Good
Ice is Never 100% Safe! — Do not judge ice safety on thickness alone. Ice does not form or maintain a uniform thickness. Snow, wind, slush, temperature, and other factors can cause ice thickness and strength to vary greatly, even within inches. Recreate on ice at your own risk and verify ice thickness as you head out.
