Volunteer
We need you! Individuals, couples, and families with children of all ages, as well as service groups and clubs, are needed for worthwhile and fun projects. Whether you can spend a few minutes, hours, days, or months, a volunteer assignment can be tailored to meet your interests.
- Maintenance Workers contribute skills and labor.
- Docents/Naturalists bring Utah’s past to life and interpret our natural surroundings.
- Visitor Center Workers share their love of nature and history.
- Trail Stewards assist with trail construction, maintenance, patrolling, and protection of natural resources.

Campground Hosting
Our camp host volunteers keep our campgrounds clean and orderly, and help with our visitor center operations. Snow Canyon has two camp host positions per season (September through June). Follow the link below to see our current needs:

Docent Program
Do you want to educate the public, assist with naturalist guided hikes, and grow your knowledge of the park? The Docent Program is wonderful opportunity for those who are in the area during our interpretation season (September through May). You will get on-site monthly trainings as well as flexible hours to sign up for running pop-up tables, assisting guided hikes, and hiking with field trip students.
Requirements:

- Have a passion for nature and public speaking
- Have a valid drivers license
- 10 hour per month commitment
- Can pass a state background check
