Trail Cleanup, Safety Event at Sand Hollow State Park
March 3, 2022
EVENT DATE: March 12, 2022, at 9 a.m.
SAND HOLLOW STATE PARK — The Utah Division of State Parks is excited to announce an upcoming community cleanup event hosted at Sand Hollow State Park on Saturday, March 12. While the event will be attended by multiple off-highway vehicle clubs, all members of the community are invited to attend.
Those attending the event are asked to please meet at 9 a.m. at the OHV parking lot which accesses the nearby Sand Mountain Recreation Area from within Sand Hollow State Park. If you plan to participate please bring your own machine as OHVs will not be provided. The event is expected to last all day.
Park rangers will also be placed throughout the riding area to answer any questions about safety requirements and will also be handing out whip flags to those who need them.
The Utah Division of State Parks strongly encourages all riders to wear protective equipment, including helmets, at all times. Reminder, helmets are mandatory on all public land for riders under the age of 18. Please remember to follow all safety laws and regulations when out riding. A full list of Utah’s OHV laws and rules can be found online at ohv.utah.gov.
