NOTICE: Temporary Closures at Sand Hollow Due to Special Events

HURRICANE, Utah — Park management is announcing the following temporary closures at Sand Hollow State Park.

For the safety of participants, the boat ramp will be closed and no boating will be allowed on the following dates/times:

September 11, 2021: KOKOPELLI TRI (6:00 AM – NOON)
• Boat Ramp Closure / No Boating
• South Beach and OHV access open

September 14-16, 2021: IRONMAN SWIM (ALL DAY)
• Boat Ramp Closure / No Boating
• South Beach and OHV access open

September 17, 2021: IRONMAN BIKE DROP-OFF (ALL DAY)
• Boat Ramp Closure / No Boating
• South Beach and OHV access open

September 18, 2021: IRONMAN SWIM (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
• Boat Ramp Closure / No Boating
• South Beach and OHV access closed

PARK REOPENS (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
• Boat Ramp may not be open until later in the day.
