Become a 2019 Camp Host at Utah State Parks!

Camp hosts at Kodachrome Basin State Park.

How would you like to spend your summer days living at one of your favorite state parks? Becoming a camp host can make that dream a reality!

Summer is right around the corner and Utah State Parks is still looking to fill multiple camp host positions at parks across the state.

Camp hosts are individuals who, in exchange for a free camping spot (and in some cases a wage), assist park managers and staff with the day-to-day operations of the park.

These hosts are valuable members of the Utah State Parks team. Often times, camp hosts enjoy their time so much that they return year after year. Camp hosts do not need to be Utah residents. We have many camp hosts from a variety of different states and countries.

These parks are currently looking for camp hosts for the 2019 season:

  • Palisade State Park
  • Willard Bay State Park
  • Quail Creek State Park
  • Bear Lake State Park
  • East Canyon State Park (this is a primitive campsite. Paid wage available)

So, what are you waiting for? Use the link below to fill out our volunteer interest form. Be sure you select “Camp Host” on the dropdown menu. Take one more step to a year you won’t forget.
