Boating Restricted at Deer Creek Due to Fire

UPDATE: As of 8 am Thursday, July 12, the park is once again open for boating. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. 

DEER CREEK STATE PARK — Due to a fire near Deer Creek State Park, public boating on Deer Creek Reservoir has been restricted until further notice. All boats on the water are in the process of being removed at this time. This is to allow responders to use water for fire suppression efforts and help ensure public safety.

Deer Creek State Park campgrounds remain open and functional. There is some falling ash in the area due to the fire, so expect that upon arrival.
