Wide Hollow Reservoir has been completely drained for reconstruction of the dam. The project began in March 2010. The reservoir will have no water throughout 2010. Recreational use of the reservoir for fishing, swimming and boating will not be available until Spring 2011.
The campground and hiking trails will remain open. A few campsites will be impacted by the construction. Currently, there is a pump running 24 hours a day at the construction site. In September, construction activity will take place 6 days a week and 24 hours a day. For more information, please check our "Current Conditions" link (see below) or call the park at 435-826-4466.
Please use caution in and around the park as there will be large construction vehicles using the entrance road.
