Become a Host

Camp hosts and museum hosts greet park visitors, provide information about the park and surrounding areas, collect user fees, and assist with maintenance, cleaning and general upkeep of the campground or museum. Camp hosts also oversee day-to-day campground activities and help deter vandalism. Most of our parks have full hookups for hosts in exchange for 25 or more hours a week of volunteer efforts.

You may choose one of the full-time host positions as listed, or a portion of the months needed. Available months may change.

For more information, please call our Volunteer Coordinator by filling out the Volunteer Inquiry Form on the previous page or contact the individual park where you’d like to be a host.
