The park is a starting point for boaters adventuring through Labyrinth and Stillwater canyons. The annual Green River Melon Days Festival occurs on the third weekend of September.
Green River Golf Course
Green River State Park golf course is a golf oasis on the banks of the Green River, with the Book Cliffs towering in the distance. The elevated tees and greens add character to a leisurely round of golf.
The course offers fairways lined with mature cottonwood trees and water hazards from the meandering Green River. Surrounded by natural wonder, this nine-hole classic was designed to challenge the experienced player, but remain playable to newer golfers.
Championship Level Disc Golf: Green River Golf Course also features a new championship-level 18-hole disc golf course. Disc golf supplies are available at the clubhouse along with disc rentals.

Play a Tournament-Level Disc Golf Course
Green River State Park is home to is a tournament-level disc golf course, designed and constructed by Birdie Disc Golf in 2015. The 18-hole course is challenging enough for professional players, but can be enjoyed by novices as well. Weather permitting, the course is open all year.
