Pollinator Garden Workday Wednesday
June 3, 10, 17, & 24, — 8:30am – 11:30 am
Pollinator Garden, South Marina Campground
Witness first hand how the garden changes week to week throughout the summer. Help a park ranger maintain the pollinator plant garden at the South Marina for habitat, education, and as a seed bank. We need volunteers to help plant, weed, mulch, gather seeds, and other garden duties as necessary.
Weekly time will be spent on garden chores, species observation and education, and nature journaling.
Bring water, sun screen, and insect repellent. Tools and journaling supplies will be provided.
Pollinator Walk Bioblitz
Wednesday, June 24 — 8:00-10:00am, Willard Peak Pond
Thursday, June 25 — 8:00-10:00am, Eagle Beach Nature Trail near the Group Pavilion
Friday – June 26 — 8:00-10:00 am, Osprey Day Use area
Saturday -June 27 — 8:00-10:00am, Pollinator Garden, South Marina Campground
Join a park ranger naturalist on daily walks to discover pollinators in the park. Learn how to be a citizen scientist by logging your observations in iNaturalist. Find out what you can do to protect and promote these crucial creatures.
Bring water, sun screen, and insect repellent, binoculars, camera or cell phone encouraged.
Event free with paid park entry or Annual Utah State Parks Pass.
Nature Journaling – EKO Adventure Challenge
June 27 — 10:30am – 12:00 pm
Pollinator Garden, South Marina Campground
Park Ranger led nature journaling will focus on different species of pollinators and their host plants that can be found in the garden. Supplies provided.

Join us as we celebrate pollinators and all they do to keep our ecosystem buzzing. Crafts and activities provided to help deepen your understanding of the big roll these tiny creatures play. See bees and butterflies in action in our pollinator garden. Get your hands dirty planting seeds and host species.
