Intro to Paddle Sports

11:00 A.M. & 2:00 P.M.

Celebrate Water Safety Day at Echo State Park with an Intro to Paddle Sports event 🚣‍♀️💦 No prior experience or equipment needed—just show up ready to have fun on the water. Guests will have the chance to try out paddleboards and kayaks, participate in a brief safety overview, and then head out on the water to practice their new skills. This event is free with paid park entry or a valid annual pass and is perfect for beginners of all ages. Two start times are available: 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Come learn, paddle, and enjoy the reservoir safely!

July 29th

Full Moon Hike

9:00 P.M.

Step into the glow of the full moon and experience Echo State Park after dark 🌕✨ Join us for a guided full moon hike as moonlight reflects off the water and transforms the landscape into something truly special. This easy, family-friendly hike is a great way to enjoy the park from a whole new perspective—bring a friend, wear sturdy shoes, and don’t forget a jacket. Come walk under the moon and make some night-time memories at Echo State Park!
