April 25th 2026: Bonneville Backyard Ultra. This event will take place starting at the Dam Trailhead and going two miles up the Deer Creek Trail. The parking lot and the first two miles of the trail will be closed on the 25th until the event is over. The trail can still be accessed on the Soldier Hollow side. July 11th 2026: Deer Creek Half Marathon. This event will take place starting at the Dam Trailhead and going almost the entire span of the trail. The parking lot, trailhead, and trail will be closed for the morning of July 11th 2026. It will reopen when the event is completed.
