Full Moon Hike

Step into the glow of the full moon and experience Echo State Park after dark 🌕✨ Join us for a guided full moon hike as moonlight reflects off the water and transforms the landscape into something truly special. This easy, family-friendly hike is a great way to enjoy the park from a whole new perspective—bring a friend, wear sturdy shoes, and don’t forget a jacket. Come walk under the moon and make some night-time memories at Echo State Park!

Star Party
8:30 P.M.
Look up and explore the night sky at Echo State Park ⭐🌌 Join us for a star party where the lights go down and the stars come out. Learn about constellations, planets, and other celestial sights while enjoying the peaceful nighttime views over the reservoir. This family-friendly event is perfect for curious minds and night owls alike—bring a chair, a jacket, and your sense of wonder for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
April 25th
Earth Week Trail Clean-up
9:00 A.M.
Celebrate Earth Week by giving back to the trails we all love 🌎🧤 Join us at Echo State Park for a trail clean-up and help keep our park beautiful for wildlife and future visitors. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, make a positive impact, and show some love to the land that gives us so much. All ages are welcome—just bring sturdy shoes, water, and your Earth Week spirit!
May 16th
Intro to Paddle Sports
11:00 A.M. & 2:00 P.M.
Celebrate Water Safety Day at Echo State Park with an Intro to Paddle Sports event 🚣♀️💦 No prior experience or equipment needed—just show up ready to have fun on the water. Guests will have the chance to try out paddleboards and kayaks, participate in a brief safety overview, and then head out on the water to practice their new skills. This event is free with paid park entry or a valid annual pass and is perfect for beginners of all ages. Two start times are available: 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Come learn, paddle, and enjoy the reservoir safely!
