Boat ramp closed at Yuba State Park

YUBA STATE PARK — This year, water was really good over at Yuba State Park. Many people joined us for boating, fishing, swimming, and paddle boarding. However, with the hot weather setting in, and the water receding, park staff have announced that the boat ramp at Yuba is now officially closed.

However, with the hot weather setting in, and the water receding, park staff have announced that the boat ramp at Yuba is now officially closed. Staff at the park will be roping off the end of the ramp to prevent people from dropping off the end, getting stuck, or causing damage to their boats and vehicles.

There is still plenty of water to swim and recreate with your canoe’s, kayak’s, paddles ect., but boats are not likely to do well. Please do not try and launch a vessel from shore. If you do so, it is at your own risk. We will NOT be able to launch our park boat to assist you if needed.

For further questions, comments, or concerns, you can contact the park directly at: (435)-758-2611
