Volunteers Raise Kiosk At Lookout Pass

Lookout Pass Project

Lookout Pass Project

The cold weather may be on its way in, but that hasn’t slowed the efforts of the OHV clubs and organizations who work tirelessly to help keep Utah’s trails a favorite the world over.

This month, members from two clubs – the Northern Utah ATV Trail Riders and the  Public Lands Equal Access Alliance – came together to install a kiosk at Lookout Pass, just southeast of the Historical Faust Pony Express Station. Over the last four months, our awesome OHV volunteer groups have installed a total of four kiosks.

These kiosks have been a long-awaited addition to the Prospector Backway Complex. This popular trail system is around 800 miles and runs through portions of Juab, Utah, and Tooele County.

The kiosk will educate riders in the area, and help preserve the trail’s rich history for many years to come. These volunteers are a prime example of what it means to work together, give back to ones community and protect Utah’s fastest growing recreational activity.
