Fielding Garr Ranch Closed Due To Storm Damage

Storm Damage at Antelope Island State Park

ANTELOPE ISLAND STATE PARK – Due to damaged sustained by Thursday’s storm, the Fielding Garr Ranch at Antelope Island State Park has been closed to the public until further notice.

This decision stems from safety concerns after the roof of a barn was severely damaged. Other standing structures, windows, and dumpsters have been damaged by the storm as well.

To our knowledge, no visitors or staff members have been harmed by the storm on the island.

At this time, all the large mammals on the island appear well and are not believed to have been injured. The ranch will reopen after park staff have assessed the situation and determined it is once again safe.
