The holiday season is here, and with it comes another year of the popular Christkindlmarkt SLC event at This is the Place Heritage Park.
This year, there is a new and improved market layout which spreads booths and food vendors out, providing more room to mingle and enjoy this magical experience!
Each year, thousands of families and friends gather together to celebrate the season while spreading holiday cheer along the way. The 2025 Christkindlmarkt SLC will run from December 3 through December 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.
Inspired by the world-famous German Christmas markets, Christkindlmarkt SLC offers a unique holiday shopping and cultural experience. Guests enjoy tantalizing food and festive holiday entertainment as they stroll through wooden vendor booths nestled amid the magical backdrop of This Is The Place Heritage Park.

Welcome to Christkindlmarkt SLC!
The holiday season returns with Utah’s beloved German Christmas Market at This Is The Place Heritage Park. Inspired by Europe’s world-famous Christkindlmarkts, this festive event brings together artisan shopping, delicious food, cultural performances, and joyful traditions—all in a storybook outdoor setting.
This year features a new entrance route, expanded market layout, and more room to stroll, mingle, and enjoy the magic.
Top 5 Tips to Enjoy Christkindlmarkt 2025
1- Plan Ahead – New Route in 2025!
- There will be one designated entrance to Christkindlmarkt in 2025.
- New on-site & off-site parking options will be available, including several FREE shuttle lots.
- Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes, are wheelchair-accessible, and accommodate strollers.

- Check the weather and dress for an outdoor winter environment.

2- Respect Our Neighbors
Please help us maintain good relationships with surrounding neighborhoods and businesses by:
- Parking only in designated areas
- Avoiding side streets, private driveways, and restricted zones
- Following guidance from Salt Lake City Police, Parking Attendants, and Staff
