Park Ranger
Do you have the drive to educate others about Utah’s natural resources? Do you dream of having a job where you work outdoors in a hands-on environment?
If so, then becoming a Utah State Park Ranger may be just the career you’ve been looking for.
Non-Law Enforcement Rangers are key assets in the operation of Utah State Parks and our programs. These rangers work hard to raise awareness about responsible recreation practices and engage directly with the public at our beautiful parks.
They help organize guided hikes, interact with the public at educational events, raise awareness about the importance of protecting our natural resources, and much more!
When a park ranger position opens up, it will be placed on the state jobs website (applicant must apply there to be considered for an interview). Once on the state jobs website, sort open jobs by job title. If you find “PARK RANGER”, we have an opening and you must complete the application on this site before the closing date.
