Park Rules


Rules & Regulations (Special Area Restrictions)

  • Vehicles must display a valid Utah State Parks permit
  • No littering
  • No glass bottles on beaches
  • Vehicles must remain on pavement; No parking on grass or beach (not even for a second or just to unload)
  • Pets must be on a maximum 6′ leash and picked up after
  • No fires, except in designated campfire rings & grills
  • No carving trees or gathering of firewood
  • No running hoses or extension cords across roadways
  • No public address systems, stereos, or other sound producing devices

Marina

  • Day use only 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • No boat camping
  • 15 minute maximum at courtesy docks
  • No fishing or swimming within 100′ of the courtesy docks or boat ramp
  • No towing inside no wake buoys
  • No single vehicle parking in boat trailer stalls (May 1 – Oct. 15)

Hyrum Beach

  • Day use only 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
  • No trailers or oversize vehicles
  • No motorized watercrafts when “boats keep out” buoys are in place
  • Pedestrians only on footpath, no bicycles

Campground 

  • Check-in 3:00 PM, Check-out 12:00 PM.
  • Quiet hours 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Generators must be turned off)
  • No plastic sheeting on grass — No swimming pools, water slides, bounce houses, etc…
  • Extra vehicles must accompany a camp site, extra vehicle fee is $25 per night
  • Boat trailers parked in the day-use area after hours must display a camping or extra vehicle permit (inform park staff if you cannot fit your boat trailer or extra vehicle in your campsite)
