Cottonwood Loop: Open.
Mahogany Loop: Open.
Oak Hollow Loop: Open.
Group Sites: Open.
Chalet and Soldier Hollow Pavilion CLOSED in 2022 for a Construction Project.  
Cascade Springs Road -Midway to Cascade Spring should open today 5/17/22.  The Alpine Loop is CLOSED.  
Pine Canyon Road – CLOSED. Snow
Snake Creek Canyon – CLOSED. Snow

Little Deer Creek Campground: Opening today 5/17/22
Accessible from Cascade Spring road, by ATV from trail 2 or from Snake Creek (4×4 high clearance, no trailers). A primitive campground accessed over a dirt road.  There is  no sewer or power. Vault toilets are available.  The road leading to the campground is a dirt road. Use at your own risk.

  • Camping reservations  can be made by calling 1-800-322-3770 or https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/wasatch-mountain/  16 week in advance 
  • Cabins are open year round. Please call the above number to make a reservation.
  • You must have a special use permit if you are doing photography in the park. Please call the park visitor center for more information.  435-654-1791

Day-Use Fee’s remain in effect year round.  Please make sure to display a valid Day-Use tag or Annual State Park Pass.
  • Non Senior – $10/car up to 8 people
  • Senior  (65+) – $5/car up to 8 people

Individuals recreating on the park must have either a valid Annual State Parks Pass or Day-Use tag visible.  Failure to do so may result in a citation.  If need to pay by credit card you may stop by the visitor’s center or visit parkspass.utah.gov to pay by Credit Card.  Be sure to select Wasatch Mountain State Park when using Parks Pass.
