Registration is not required for the viewing public. Come witness a true Western experience as hundreds of horseback riders round up nearly 800 bison from around the Island and move them north into the holding corrals.

Bright Smiles and Dark Skies
In Spring 2017, Antelope Island State Park was designated an International Dark Sky Park (Bronze Tier) by the International Dark Sky Association (IDA). Antelope Island is one of a growing number of International Dark Sky Parks in Utah. These places provide an “exceptional quality of starry nights and nocturnal environment.”
When visiting Antelope Island State Park, visitors can take part in a number of night-time activities such as: Star parties, astronomy programs, camping and stargazing. Winter is a great time to enjoy the night sky, especially with the sun setting earlier.
