Experience the beauty of Echo Reservoir and make the most of your visit to Echo State Park with our boat rentals! Whether you’re looking to cruise the lake, fish, or enjoy some time on the water with friends and family, we have the perfect options for you.

Available Boat Rentals:

• Single-Level Pontoon Boats: Ideal for a relaxing day on the water, these boats comfortably seat up to 10 people and are perfect for family outings, picnics, or fishing.
• Double-Level Pontoon Boats: Spacious and comfortable, these boats provide ample room for larger groups. With two levels, they are great for enjoying the view and socializing while cruising the lake.
• Jet Skis: For those who want an exciting, high-energy experience, our jet skis offer a fun and fast way to explore the water and enjoy the open lake.
• Non-Motorized (Paddleboards and Kayaks): Great for individuals or families that enjoy taking their time exploring the lake and getting a little exercise in.

Rental Details

• Rental Hours: Rentals are available daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all rentals must be returned by 6 p.m.
• Reservation Requirements: To secure your boat rental, reservations must be made in advance. You can reserve your rental through our online store at Parkspass.store or visit the park store in person.
• No Phone Reservations: We do not accept phone reservations, and rentals are not held without a confirmed reservation.
• Equipment Availability: All rentals are subject to availability, so it’s best to book early to ensure you get the boat you want for your preferred time.
• Pricing: Pricing varies depending on the type of boat you wish to rent. Please visit our reservation page for up-to-date pricing information.

Important Information

• Cancellations: We do not cancel or reschedule rentals due to weather conditions on the day of your rental. Please make sure to check the weather forecast in advance and plan accordingly.
• Safety: All renters and passengers are required to wear life jackets while on the water. Life jackets are provided with the rental, but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.
• How to Reserve: To reserve your boat rental, simply visit the Parkspass store or stop by the park store during business hours. Please note that reservations are recommended, as availability may be limited during peak season.

Boater and Quagga Mussel Reminder

Before launching your vessel, you must self-certify and display your quagga form. If your boat has been to contaminated waters, including Lake Powell, you must clean, drain, and dry your vessel or get professionally decontaminated before launching at another water body.

• Spring dry time is 18 days before launching at Echo.
• If you have been to Lake Powell or out-of-state waters and own a more complex boat with ballast tanks, in/outboard motors with unverified water, sea strainers, etc., you must wait 30 days to dry or be professionally decontaminated, regardless of the time of year.
• Mussels are getting into ballast tanks and sea strainers after just one visit to Lake Powell.
