Boating and Decontamination

Utah Lake State Park

Boating

2 Marinas: Utah Lake State Park has 2 marinas. The inner marina has 4 boat ramps along with courtesy docks, a fueling dock with marine pump out and lease docks. Our concessionaire operates out of the inner marina, offering both motorized and non-motorized rentals. The outer marina has a sandy beach and is open to swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and more.

Marina Slips for the 2026 Season

We are Fully Rented: Utah Lake State Park would like to inform the public that all marina slips for the 2026 boating season have now been fully rented. After working through our waiting list, the remaining slips have been filled due to the continued high demand for slip rentals at the Utah Lake State Park Marina.

Waiting Lists

For those who were unable to secure a slip this season, we strongly encourage joining our waiting list for the 2027 season. Utah Lake State Park maintains two separate waiting lists: one for standard slips, (up to a 27 foot boat length) and one for large slips, (up to 52 foot lengths). Both lists operate on a first-come, first-served basis, determined by the order in which applications are received. There is a $30 application fee required to be placed on the waiting list. Applications are valid for one year, running from April to April of the following year. Please note that applications submitted during the middle of the cycle will still expire the following April.

For Our 2026 Slip Recipients

To everyone who secured a slip for the 2026 season at Utah Lake State Park, we are excited to welcome you to another great boating season. For our returning slip holders, we sincerely appreciate your continued support and the role you play in making the marina such a strong and enjoyable community each year. For those who are new to the marina this season, we look forward to getting to know you and are excited to have you join the Utah Lake State Park boating community

The team at Utah Lake State Park looks forward to a safe, fun, and memorable season on the water with all of our 2026 slip holders.

Decontamination Services

Stop The Quagga: Please help us prevent invasive mussels from entering the reservoir.  Boaters are required to certify their boat is mussel free every time they launch their boat.  If you have been to an infected water (Lake Powell or out of state) you must decontaminate your vessel. The two options to do this are professional decontamination or self decontaminating your boat.  To self decontaminate follow the steps below:

  • Clean all plants, fish, mussels, and mud off of your boat
  • Drain all water from ballast tanks, bilge, live wells, motor and all other water storing methods
  • Dry your boat and equipment for 7 days in summer, 18 days spring and fall, 30 days in winter, 3 days winterized or freezing

Professional Services Offered: If you are in need of a free professional decontamination, please contact the staff for an appointment. Call 801-375-0731
