Hiking

There are many opportunities for hiking around the campground and also around the area.

Palisade Lake Loop
Distance: 1.5 miles roundtrip
Overview: Travels around the west side of the reservoir, over the dam and through the campground loop

Ridgeline Trail
Distance: 0.6 miles one way
Overview: Hike higher elevations to see views of the valley and farmland

Lakeshore
Distance: 0.5 miles one way
Overview: Enjoy the lake on this easy trail

Park Rentals

On your visit to Palisade State Park you’re going to want to spend some time playing in the water. But you either don’t have the toys to play in the water, or you don’t have the room to bring your own toys.  Well we have a solution for you. Palisade State Park has its own rental service. 

We rent: Pedal Boats, stand-up paddle boards, canoes and kayaks for kids and adults.  Your rental fee comes with life jackets and paddles.

Cash deposits: Please bring a $20 cash deposit for your boat or life jacket rental.

Firewood: $8/bundle
Ice: $3/bag

Skyline Recreation Rentals

If you forgot to bring your own or you need to rent an ATV or Side by Side while you are staying at the park, be sure to check out Skyline Recreation. They are located just down the road from the park in Sterling UT.
