Utahraptor State Park

Day-Use Fee

A Day-use pass is $15 per vehicle. By paying this fee, you have access to all of our trails, historic site, dinosaur quarry and Visitor Center. These can be purchased at the Visitor Center.

When Camping: The Day-use pass is not required if camping in the campgrounds.

State Parks Annual Pass

The Utah State Parks Annual Pass is available for Utah residents only. For $125 or $65 for seniors, you get day-use entry for all Utah State Parks (camping not included). You can purchase one of these at the Visitor Center.

Gastonia Campground

These sites allow improved RV and trailer access, along with water and power amenities. Visit our Reserve America webpage for site-specific amenities, size and more information!

Fossil Flats Primitive Campground

Camping access to primitive camping sites is accessible via the state park entrance from Highway 191. Dalton Wells and Willow Springs roads are accessed using this entrance and connector roads. Follow signage within the state park for directions to these roads. Camp only in designated sites with existing fire pits. Do not create new fire pits.

*Note: There is NO potable water in the Fossil Flats Improved Primitive Campground. We do have a water bottle filling station at the Visitor Center.

Things to Know

Camping
  • Each camping charge covers one vehicle per night.
  • Extra vehicles cost $15 per night.
  • Only one camping unit is allowed per site.
  • Camp only in areas with existing fire pits.
  • Do not create new campsites.
  • Check-out is 12 p.m. Check-in is 3 p.m.
Fires
  • Fires are only allowed in existing fire pits, ground fires are not allowed.
  • Do not leave fires unattended.
  • Fireworks are prohibited.
  • Collecting/Cutting firewood within the park is prohibited.
Trails
  • Stay on marked trails/roads; cross-country travel is not allowed.
  • Be respectful of other users.
Wastewater
  • It is illegal to dump wastewater from campers or trailers onto the ground.
  • The dump station located in the Gastonia Campground is available to all campers.
  • Pit toilets are available in every campground loop.
  • Catholes are prohibited, please use a bathroom or WAG Bag.
