Goblin Valley State Park

Journey to this strange and colorful valley, which is unlike any other in Utah! The landscape, covered with sandstone goblins and formations, is often compared to Mars. Explore the geology and camp among the nooks and gnomes. Park activities include hiking, camping, mountain biking, disc golf, ranger programs and access to OHV routes.

Best time to arrive: Be aware that the park can be exceptionally busy on weekends and during spring break periods. We recommend arriving in the morning or later afternoon to avoid crowds.

International Dark Sky Park

Goblin Valley is a designated International Dark Sky Park. Learn more about our incredible dark skies and what we do to protect them here.
