(WMMF) — The Wasatch Mountain Music Festival at Soldier Hollow promises a great festival experience directed by the experienced Vibrant America and the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation teams.

With a great lineup of national recording artists and favorite local performers, workshops, showcases, a children’s area, grassy camping, jamming, new friendships, clean water and fresh mountain air.

Scheduled for July 14, 15, 16, 2017, the festival goal is a long-term music event for not just locals but also drawing fans of acoustic music everywhere.

The Wasatch Mountain Music Festival at Soldier Hollow is a new partnership between Vibrant America, Inc., producer of the former Wallsburg Music Festival and long-time supporter of Americana music along the Wasatch front and the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, the new manager of the Soldier Hollow event center.

In three years the Wallsburg festival grew from a just local performers the first year to the 3rd year of Capitol recording artists and Grammy Winning performers.

With a mission to educate and well as entertain, the Wasatch Mountain Music Festival will offer workshops from the professionals, singer/songwriter showcases, music activities for children and opportunities for all musicians to jam and build relationships.

Soldier Hollow, the 2002 site of the Olympic cross-country skiing, biathlon, and Nordic combined events, has the infrastructure for large summer events. There is an ideal festival staging area, a large, grassy camping space, family hiking and biking trails, and the ambiance of mountain beauty.

Included in the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation’s new mission is building summer events to contribute income to train our country’s next Olympic contenders.
