OHV 50

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) program with us.

In 1971, the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation Off-Highway Vehicle Program was created. In 2021, this program remains actively engaged in the OHV community.

The Off-Highway Vehicle Program promotes educational programs and distributes education course certificates to youth, administers multiple grants for both public and private entities, distributes non-resident permits to visitors from other states, shares safety messages, and much, much more!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the OHV Program we have some awesome plans for the coming year. We will be:

Hosting digital photography hunts and contests with cool prizes

  • Hosting events — both digital and in-person
  • Sharing the riding story of multiple Utahn’s through our #WeRide campaign
  • Posting historical photos, factoids, and more on our social media channels
  • And much, much more!

We invite you to share in our celebration throughout 2021. Visit this page periodically and follow our social channels for upcoming events and fun happenings.
