In the unlikely event of a malfunction with Internet reservations through ReserveAmerica, below are possible solutions:
Cannot access the web pages or your browser "times out" when accessing the reservations site: Internet traffic is heavy or the site is temporarily down. Sometimes a page refresh or reload will work. Otherwise, try again later. If you are well into the reservation process and you are interrupted by a freeze-up or other software or web error, you could end up with duplicate reservations when you repeat the process. If you suspect this has happened to you, please call us at (801) 322-3770 in Salt Lake City or toll-free 800-322-3770, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
You get an error message "Could not get details on agency": The site is temporarily out of service. Try reloading the page or alert ReserveAmerica at reservations@ReserveAmerica.com and try again later.
You get the message "Fees are not available for this site": Please alert ReserveAmerica at reservations@ReserveAmerica.com and try again later or call us at (801) 322-3770 in Salt Lake City or toll-free 800-322-3770, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
You get unexpected results when a reservation is completed (dates do not match, duplicate reservations, payments are not right, etc. The software is probably malfunctioning. Please alert reservations@ReserveAmerica.com or call us at 801-322-3770 in Salt Lake City or toll-free 800-322-3770, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
You do not receive a reply from an email sent to ReserveAmerica: Please resend your email to help@ReserveAmerica.com and send a copy to reservationhelp@utah.gov and we will make sure that ReserveAmerica receives a copy.
You have a problem signing up as a "First Time Customer": If you get kicked out to the "First Time Customer - Create a Profile Page," your system may not be accepting "cookies." If this is the case, make sure your browser is set to accept cookies. Make sure you are not running a filtering and blocking software package that also filters cookies.
You "try again at another time" and the problem is still occurring: Software is likely malfunctioning; please alert help@ReserveAmerica.com to have it corrected.
You have not received your Email Confirmation: Utah State Parks is unable to send email confirmation letters to Internet Service Providers that have a reverse lookup feature. If you have Comcast, AOL, Frontiernet, Juno, or Netzero you will not get an email confirmation letter. Please provide an alternate email address or request a copy to be sent via regular mail. If your email address is valid and you do not receive a confirmation letter 72 hours after your reservation was made there may have been a problem processing your credit card. Please call 800-322-3770 or 322-3770 in the Salt Lake City area to check The status of your reservation. Allow for additional time on Weekends and Holidays as the call center is closed during these times.
