Free Fishing Day: Pathways To Fishing (June 07, 2008 - June 07, 2008)
Kids up to the age of 14 are invited to join park staff and Division of Wildlife volunteers at the visitor center pond from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a day of fishing, fun, and prizes. Space is limited and registration is required by calling (435) 654-1791.

Join the naturalist at 8:30 p.m. as we dare to give up our sight to discover Wasatch Mountain State Park at night along the 2-mile nature trail. Night sounds challenge us to give up our dependence on sight, and rely on its lesser-developed cousin, our hearing. Meet at Oak Hollow campsite #20. An Evening in the Country (September 20, 2008 - September 20, 2008)
The Friends of Wasatch Mountain State Park, a non-profit volunteer organization, will hold its second annual fundraiser on September 20, 2008. In synergy with last year's Huber Grove Trail project, funds will be raised to add a picnic pavilion and amphitheater to the historic Huber Grove. The evening at the Wasatch Mountain Chalet in Midway will include live entertainment, silent auction, dinner, and dancing. Formal invitations will be sent in mid-summer, but the event is open to the public. Seating is limited and based on the successful and sold out response in '07, an early reservation is recommended.
