Jordanelle State Park

Directions

Jordanelle is located approximately 35 miles east of Salt Lake City, and approximately 38 miles northeast of Provo.

Hailstone Recreation Area (day use, main boat ramp, campgrounds, event center, rentals, office) – From Salt Lake City: Take I-80 East to US 40 East, then take the Mayflower exit (#8). Turn east towards the reservoir on SR-319 which dead ends inside the park. From Provo: Take 189 East to US 40 West, then take the Mayflower exit (#8). Rock Cliff Recreation Area (day use, nature center, tent campground, small boat ramp, river access) – From Salt Lake City: Take I-80 East to US 40 East, at the traffic light (approx. mile marker 13) turn left to Highway 32 East, travel about 7.5 miles then left on Rock Cliff Road. From Provo: Take 189 East to US 40 West toward Park City, at the traffic light (approx. mile marker 13) turn right to Highway 32 East, travel about 7.5 miles then left on Rock Cliff Road which leads to the park entrance. Ross Creek Recreation Area (day use, trailhead, perimeter trail, non-motorized boat ramp) – From Salt Lake City: Take I-80 east to US 40 south, take Park City exit (#4). Turn left on UT-248 towards Kamas, head south to Longview Drive (approx. mile marker 6.5), turn right, and head south to the park entrance. From Provo: Take 189 East to US 40 West toward Park City, take Park City exit (#4). Turn left on UT-248 towards Kamas, head south to Longview Drive (approx. mile marker 6.5), turn right, and head south to the park entrance. Crandall Point Trailhead (trailhead, perimeter trail access) – From Salt Lake City: Take I-80 East to US 40 East, then take the Mayflower exit (#8). Turn east towards the reservoir and then immediately turn north onto Jordanelle Boulevard. At the bottom of the hill (roughly 1/2 mile), turn right onto Old Keetley Road. Follow Old Keetley Road until it dead ends and turn right in the Crandall Point Trailhead. From Provo: Take 189 East to US 40 West, then take the Mayflower exit (#8). Turn east towards the reservoir and then immediately turn north onto Jordanelle Boulevard. At the bottom of the hill (roughly 1/2 mile), turn right onto Old Keetley Road.
