BEAR LAKE EASTSIDE AREAS

Five remote areas provide opportunities for primitive camping and day-use activities. Launch ramps are available at First Point and Raimbow Cove. Cisco Beach provides the best access for fishing and scuba diving. North Eden is friendly for groups. South Eden has drinking water, 20 reservable campsites and two group pavilions. All camping is first-come, first-served, except at South Eden where reservations are required.

Bear Lake State Park offers three recreation areas:
Rendezvous Beach
Bear Lake Marina
Eastside

Park Hours:
7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
First Point, Cisco Beach, and Rainbow Cove are open year-round, however launch ramps are not accessible when lake is frozen over South Eden and North Eden are generally open May 1 through October 31 (weather permitting).

Overnight Camping:
South Eden Campground: $10 per vehicle per night (20 designated and reservable sites- primitive with water faucets spaced throughout campground)
Cisco Beach Campground: $10 (primitive) (first come, first served)
Rainbow Cove Campground:  $10 per night per vehicle (14 designated campsites, primitive, first come, first served)
North Eden Campground:  $10 per vehicle per might (six designated sites, primitive, first come, first served)

Group Day Use:
South Eden Group Area - north: $50 flat rate (50 people max - 10 vehicles max)
South Eden Group Area - south: $50 flat rate (50 people max - 10 vehicles max)

Group Overnight Camping:
South Eden Group Area - north: $50 flat rate (50 people max - 10 vehicles max)
South Eden Group Area - south: $50 flat rate (50 people max - 10 vehicles max)

Location of Park: 
Approximately 142 miles northeast of Salt Lake City.
Located near the Utah / Idaho border. Eastside areas are located along the east side of the lake north of Laketown.

Nearest Town with Services:
Garden City is approximately 21 miles away by driving around the south end of the lake along the west side.
Laketown is approximately 10 south of the various Eastside facilities.
